UK economy faces ‘financial menopause’

The British economy will undergo a ‘financial menopause’ as it faces fundamental change and a decade of austerity, says Justin Urquhart Stewart. The FTSE has enjoyed a good run which may continue in the near term but at some point a pullback is inevitable and investors should be prepared, he adds.

    “You don’t get rid of boom and bust. It’s a cycle, and as part of that cycle you lose weaker companies”

    …..Unless those companies are the banks that dragged us into this mess. In their case they just get handed a load of your money and carry on as though nothing happened.

    One rule for them….another for everyone else!
